1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Campus Business Hub platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

  • Campus-specific regulations and policies

2. Eligibility

User Requirements
Student Status

You must be a currently enrolled student at a recognized educational institution to use this platform.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create a business account and conduct transactions.

Verification

You agree to provide accurate information and undergo verification processes as required.

Note: Business owners must maintain active student status. Graduated students have a 6-month grace period to transition their businesses.

3. Account Terms

Account Responsibilities
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You must promptly update your information if it changes
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Transactions and Payments

Transaction Guidelines
  • All transactions must comply with campus regulations and local laws
  • Prices must be clearly stated and include all applicable taxes
  • Sellers are responsible for product/service delivery as described
  • Buyers must make payments through approved payment methods
  • Refund policies must be clearly stated by sellers
Payment Processing

We partner with secure payment processors to handle transactions. By using our payment services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate payment information
  • Pay all applicable fees and charges
  • Authorize us to charge your payment method for completed transactions
  • Accept our dispute resolution process
Platform Fees: We charge a 5% transaction fee on all sales to maintain and improve our services.

5. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Campus Business Hub:

Illegal Items

Sale of illegal substances, weapons, stolen property, or any items prohibited by campus regulations.

Academic Dishonesty

Sale of completed assignments, exam papers, or any services that facilitate academic dishonesty.

Fraudulent Activities

Misrepresentation of products, fake reviews, pyramid schemes, or any deceptive practices.

Harassment

Bullying, threats, hate speech, or any form of harassment against other users.

Intellectual Property Violations

Sale of counterfeit goods or unauthorized use of copyrighted material.

Violation Consequences: Accounts engaging in prohibited activities will be suspended immediately and may be reported to campus authorities.

6. Content Guidelines

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us a license to use it for platform operations:

  • Non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content
  • Right to modify content for technical compatibility
  • Right to remove content that violates our policies
Content Standards

All user-generated content must:

  • Be accurate and truthful
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Not contain offensive or inappropriate material
  • Comply with campus conduct codes
  • Be relevant to the campus community

7. Intellectual Property

Platform IP

Campus Business Hub and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

You maintain ownership of your business names, logos, product designs, and other intellectual property you create. However, by using our platform, you grant us a license to display this content to facilitate transactions.

Trademark Guidelines

You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission. This includes our name, logo, and any other distinctive brand features.

8. Limitation of Liability

Platform as Marketplace

Campus Business Hub acts as a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. We are not party to transactions between users and are not responsible for:

  • Quality, safety, or legality of items sold
  • Accuracy of product descriptions
  • Seller's ability to deliver items
  • Buyer's ability to pay for items
Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between users, we provide mediation services. However, our liability is limited to the amount of fees we collected from the transaction in question.

Legal Notice: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Termination

Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

  • Violates these Terms of Service
  • Creates risk or possible legal exposure for us
  • Harms other users or the platform community
  • Is reported by campus authorities
User-Initiated Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the platform immediately ceases
  • We may delete your account information
  • Completed transactions remain binding
  • Outstanding obligations must be fulfilled

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through:

  • Email notifications to registered users
  • Platform announcements
  • Updated "Last Modified" date

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the platform.
